New Sample Code, Docs, Forum and FAQs
ALmixer is now 64-bit
As of today, you can get the new version of ALmixer from the store. Just login and download Platino, inside the zip you will find the latest version. We will be adding a sample or two to the sample code page later today to show you how to get setup, and we will be updating our documentation shortly.
The new API Documentation
We’ve cleaned up the API docs and moved them to a new home at http://docs.platino.io/
Over the coming weeks we will be further cleaning these up and adding to them as we implement new features. We will also be aiming to better document some existing features, including multitouch.
The new Forum
We’ve created a new forum at http://forum.platino.io/ - along with sections for developer and new user support, we’ve added a bug forum for keeping track of any open bugs that have been filed in our support center, a sticky to see our latest sample code and more. We’ve also enabled “karma” so users can get feedback on their posts.
The new Sample Code page
We’ve put up sample code on a new page here, as well as on Github for developers who prefer that method. Both are kept totally in sync so you won’t miss any new code.
Speaking of new code, we’ve added the “Particle Dice” sample to the sample code page, and will be adding more shortly, then continuing to update with new samples on a regular basis.
The new Support Center
We have a new system set up for filing bugs and easily checking their status, as well as submitting other inquiries not suited to the forum. You can access it at http://support.platino.io/
If you were previously using an Animo product and want to find out its status, need information on how to get a free copy of Platino as a previous user, or http://forum.platino.io/index.php?topic=14.0
Thank you for being a part of the Platino community!
